The Sisters of Charity Federation opened their collaborative project in New Orleans on January 4, 2010. Sisters from Federation congregations and young adults began their volunteer ministry in the extremely cold weather. The new project will house three sisters permanently. They will host various volunteer groups and provided a consistent presence to the still hurting city.
