Maris Stella is located on Long Beach Island, a barrier island on the coast of New Jersey. The location is unique in that it is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and Barnegat Bay on the West.

A ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth for over fifty years, Maris Stella offers a variety of Retreats, Days of Reflection and Programs. Maris Stella hosts retreat groups, conferences and meetings seeking a facility for their own programs.

The Chapel with expansive views of the bay provides the environment conducive to prayer and reflection. Sunrises over the ocean or sunsets on the bay are unforgettable experiences of God’s beautiful creation!
