It was hosted by the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy. Because the theme was Weaving the Visions, each congregation brought with them a weaving of significance to its members to share with the meeting. On the first day of the meeting, a panel of Board Members spoke about the changes in the Federation and hopes for the future. On Saturday, participants listened to Melissa Camardo SCL speak about her desires for the future of the Federation.

She challenged the leaders to go from “belonging” to “commitment.” There were times for Open Space opportunities to look at new was of collaborating for the future. There was also time for praying, playing and visiting the OLM Motherhouse at May Forest, as well as taking a Harbor Cruise in Charleston. Entertainment by the Magnolia singers and a Latin American dance group had all up clapping and moving.

Good-byes and thank yous were said to the 34 leaders for whom this would be their last meeting and to Mary Ann Daly SC who will be leaving her role as Executive Director at the end of September.
